About the Conference

The conference Tuning into the Noise of Europe is a joint project of the study programme European Studies at the The Hague University of Applied Science and the research platform Good Governance. Our partners are the Lighthouse and the Montesquieu Institute (The Hague).

The two-day conference can be described as a combined academic round-table debate and an interactive student forum. The conference is organized in two sessions of papers and discussion. They will be organized in form of round-table discussions with a moderator and interactive involvement/participation of the audience. Therefore, the sessions have been allocated 2 hour time slots and will have discussion breaks inbetween. This is followed by a moderated plenary round table at the end. In doing so, it is hoped to encourage as much debate and input as possible to develop new narratives as we go along.
